Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide executive-level administrative support to the General Manager and Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations-North America. This position will partner with other assistants across the globe, work across time zones, in a professional and collaborative relationship ensuring seamless support to both internal and external customers.
Primary Duties
Provides confidential administrative support to GM and Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations-North America and the respective teams.
Works closely and coordinates with Chief of Staff to prepare for key meetings and communications.
Calendar management including the yearly functional calendar for the leadership teams, scheduling and arranging meetings in a dynamic and agile manner and in collaboration with internal and external partners is a critical and key component of success in this role.
Assesses competing priorities and makes balanced judgments based on the needs of the senior managers. Proactively communicates all relevant issues and potential conflicts.
Manage complex domestic and international travel schedules and expense reporting.
Coordinate company events/meetings.
Maintain highly confidential data and create confidential documents.
Manage administrative orders, building requests and IT requests.
Proactively collaborates with other executives and assistants to meet timelines and deliverables.
Maintains a professional demeanor and office decorum at all times. Performs duties with integrity and a high degree of ethics.
Supports the onboarding of Clinical Operations Executives based in SLC who do not have administrative support. This includes but is not limited to ordering equipment, submitting access requests and preparing office space with HR and Facilities.
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Training & Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred (Communications, Business or other similar field).
Education Substitution: In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of professional related experience in an administrative or executive assistant capacity will be accepted.
7+ years of increasing levels of executive assistant or related experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting executives in Commercial operations in a large global company highly preferred.

Skilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. Advanced: demonstrates deep knowledge; manages complex tasks and integrates multiple tools independently.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external Executive Assistants to coordinate calendars and meetings effectively.
Ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize, and take action to manage the needs of a group of senior managers who are often out of the office.
Experience with Egencia and Concur preferred.
Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.
Strong interpersonal and writing skills to enhance interactions with customers, employees, management and supervisor.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
Domestic travel required:
The estimated salary range for this role in Utah is between $71,300 and $112,000 per year. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
