Plant Manager (Quincy)

Plant Manager Location: Quincy, IL Salary: Up to $170k plus bonus

Position Overview Ferretti Search is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing firm as they seek a new Plant Manager to lead their next phase of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for elevating operational maturity, strengthening process discipline, and driving cultural alignment within a profitable but improvement-oriented facility. The organization has recently invested in automation and capital upgrades and is committed to continued growth and investment.

Operational Leadership Oversee all plant operations across multiple shifts Lead production, maintenance, engineering, and administrative functions Improve production flow, scheduling, and throughput Ensure compliance with EH&S standards and regulatory requirements Financial & Performance Management Drive cost discipline and operational efficiency Improve margin through labor optimization, scrap reduction, and workflow improvements Strengthen plant-level financial visibility and reporting Support annual capital planning and reinvestment strategies Leadership & Culture Lead and develop department heads and supervisors Establish accountability and performance standards Build credibility in a long-tenured workforce environment Drive structured change management initiatives Continuous Improvement Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives Implement sustainable process improvements Support automation integration and new product line implementations

Qualifications 7+ years of experience in plant-level leadership Strong ERP proficiency Demonstrated Lean implementation experience Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
