About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Thrive Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701!Job TitleRegistered Nurse - ERCity/State: Rapid City, South DakotaShift: 12 Hour VariableContract Length: 3 weeksStart Date: 03/30/2026Job Description:This role involves working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, providing care to a wide range of patient types from neonates to geriatrics, including trauma and cardiac patients. The setting is a Level 2 trauma center with a busy environment year-round, especially during the summer months.Responsibilities: Perform triage and admin tasks, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care. Provide evidence collection for Sexual Assault patients, utilizing provided resources and support staff. Precept students and assist across departments including Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU as needed.Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications are required; CPI or MAB/MOAB preferred. Minimum of 2 years ER experience, excluding travel, is preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system desired. Completion of approved nursing education program with active South Dakota RN license.
