Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

to join our well-established Family Practice office in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner looking to build a strong patient base and make a meaningful impact in healthcare in a traditional family practice setting. The candidate will get pay as 1099 independent contractor.

Responsibilities Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans Complete a thorough review of digital medical records Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim. All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided. Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic conditions. Ordering and interpreting X-rays and laboratory tests to assist in diagnoses. Conducting comprehensive physical exams. Facilitating referrals to specialists and coordinating with other healthcare providers. Collaborating closely with our staff to ensure the best care for our patients Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week Qualifications: Board-certified Nurse Practitioners (autonomous preferred) One year Experience or some prior VA work is ideal. Design your own schedule Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to work autonomous Florida NP/PA License Skills Proven experience as a nurse practitioner Excellent knowledge of the nursing process Excellent knowledge of patient care In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to xmvmafu follow them at all times A team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills MSN from a nursing program Valid Florida APRN nursing license BLS or CPR certified Professional liability or malpractice insurance Job Types: Contract, Local contract, PRN, Per diem, Temp-to-hire, Permanent, Seasonal, Tenured, Non-tenure Pay: $200.00 - $400.00 per day Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
