Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Additional Details: An interview may not be available prior to offer. ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any Common Spirit location within the last 12 months. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Required Skills/Experience: RNs are required to titrate drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Insulin) and interpret tele strips. RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. at least 1 year in ICU setting. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Travelers included in perm staff holiday rotation. Call/standby required on shifts when we end up with excessive staff. - Holiday Requirements: Will include travelers in perm staff rotation. Floating Requirements: Units are assigned via text message 2 hours prior to the start of their shift. Distance between campuses is around 20-25 minutes. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days 1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission 1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission Driver’s license required for submission Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
