Associate Attorney Law

*Overview* Franke Schultz & Mullen is seeking to add Attorneys to our civil litigation defense practice in our Kansas City office. Represent the firm’s insurance company clients and their insureds, and corporate clients, in all facets of civil litigation. Conduct legal research, negotiation, and prepare pleadings, discovery, and motions. Manage cases independently and as a part of the case team. *Qualifications* * Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school * Admission to the Missouri or Kansas state bar with the other to be completed after hire * Prior experience in civil litigation * Strong legal research skills * Excellent negotiation skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and as a team member *About Franke Schultz & Mullen* Franke Schultz & Mullen is a firm of defense trial lawyers who have successfully tried hundreds of cases to jury verdict in federal and state courts throughout the Midwest.
