Role: CT Technologist Location: Rochester, NY 14642 Schedule: 5x8 hours, 40hrs/Week, M-F 3PM – 11:30 PM, Holidays, On call, Call back, Holidays per unit needs, On call 2-3 call shifts/month Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Breakdown : Blended Hourly - $80.00/hr (Taxable - $ 42.90; Non-taxable - $ 37.10) Weekly Gross - $3,200.00 (Taxable - $ 1,716.00; Non-taxable - $ 1,484.00) Job Overview: Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Requirements: Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
