Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a non-profit community hospital in Yakima, WA, requiring Epic proficiency and hands-on skills including trach care, chest tubes, and central lines. Responsibilities 12-hour night shifts (0700–1930 or 1900–0730) 36 hours per week Located on a 46-bed Med/Surg unit (3E W) within a 226-bed non-profit Level III community hospital Patient population includes ESRD, dialysis, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, pneumonia, COVID, UTI, CHF, AMS, ETOH, SBO, osteomyelitis, electrolyte abnormalities with remote monitoring, post-op, and end-of-life care EMR: Epic (experience required) Every other weekend rotation required Floating to other Med/Surg units required No on-call responsibilities First-time travelers are welcome to apply with a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience Any scrub color is acceptable Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required Proficiency in Epic EMR required Required skills: G-tubes, trach care, chest tubes, and central lines Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) required prior to start; one reference may be submitted at time of consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-677804.
