Full-time, 40 hours/week based on assigned school Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans consistent with state curriculum standards Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning atmosphere Assess and monitor student progress regularly Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Ensure compliance with district policies and student safety regulations Participate in professional development activities Supervise students during school activities and transitions Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree from an approved education program in Physical Education or related subject area Valid NC teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Physical Education Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences in a K-12 setting Strong classroom management and organizational skills Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues Previous school-based teaching experience preferred Reliable transportation and availability to work a full-time schedule Familiarity with North Carolina DPI licensure requirements and standards Application Process: Interested candidates should prepare a detailed bullet-point summary highlighting relevant experience, classroom strengths, and certifications.
