A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in an elementary school setting in Gilroy, CA, for the current school year through June 4, 2026. This contract role involves providing essential services to students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, supporting their educational development in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Key responsibilities include: Delivering both direct therapy and consultation services to students with disabling conditions. Conducting annual and triennial IEP reviews and assessments to monitor student progress. Developing and implementing intervention strategies tailored to each students specific needs to enhance their educational outcomes. Collaborating with educational staff and families to ensure comprehensive support for eligible students. Qualifications: Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Experience working within school systems, preferably with elementary-aged children. Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining detailed documentation for IEP compliance. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Location: Gilroy, California, onsite at an elementary school. Employment Details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Contract role covering the current school year through June 4, 2026. Candidates will interview directly with the client.
