Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary school students in Mobile, AL. This opportunity involves working with children from kindergarten through fifth grade in an on-site school setting, providing essential speech and language services that promote student communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students (K-5).
Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
Experience working in school settings is desirable, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a caseload of elementary students with varying speech and language needs.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Assignment Details:
Location: Mobile, AL; primarily at Elle Grant Elementary School with a second site to be determined.
Start Dates: March 15, 2026 (Elle Grant Elementary), ASAP for the second position.
End Date: May 29, 2026.
Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week.
Contract duration aligns with the current school year.
