Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer (ATE – C#, LabVIEW, TestStand)
Location: Skaneateles, NY – Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months (Strong possibility of extension)
We are seeking a
hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer
to support the development, debugging, and deployment of
Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
used in the production of medical devices.
This is a
software-focused test engineering role
where you will work on both
enhancing existing test systems and building new automated test solutions
in a
Windows-based environment .
Key Responsibilities
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve
existing automated test systems
on the manufacturing floor
Design and develop
new ATE test solutions
from concept through deployment
Modify and maintain
test software using C# / .NET, LabVIEW, and TestStand
Integrate test systems with
PLC-controlled equipment and instrumentation
Create
design documentation, test protocols, and project plans
Perform
code reviews, unit testing, and system validation
Partner with
R&D and Manufacturing teams
to define test requirements and ensure production readiness
Provide
hands-on production support
to ensure system reliability and uptime
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
5+ years of experience in:
Manufacturing test or production test environment
Automated Test Equipment (ATE) development
Strong programming experience in:
C# / .NET
LabVIEW
TestStand
Experience working in a
Windows PC environment
Hands-on experience with:
Debugging and modifying existing test systems
Test instrumentation (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, etc.)
Understanding of
equipment integration and PLC interface
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Medical device industry experience (FDA / ISO 13485 / GMP environment)
Experience with
C++ or embedded systems
SQL or test data management experience
Exposure to system validation and regulated environments
