Clinical Nurse II - Antepartum/Labor and Delivery

Department/Unit: Labor & Delivery - D6E Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00 The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document each step as expected by company policy and local/state/federal regulations. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and monitor patient conditions. Regularly assess and evaluate patient needs and their responses to the care provided. Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions. Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as directed. Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients. Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice. FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week) Shifts: Night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week) Weekend Commitment: Required Holidays: 3 worked holidays and 3 non-worked holidays
