Description: Job Title: Classroom Aide - Extended Care (After School Hours)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Aide to support our extended care program after school hours. The ideal candidate will assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, actively supervising and interacting with their activities, and social interactions.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with the children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being. Interact and actively supervise children students in their activities, providing guidance and support as needed. Plan and implement age-appropriate recreational and educational activities. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction and teamwork. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Skills and Qualifications: High school student (Junior or Senior) - or - High School diploma or GED. State mandated 45-hour coursework completion or ability to complete within established timeframes. Experience in a childcare or educational setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices. First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
