The Wound Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. We are closed on weekends and Holidays. We have four providers who see patients throughout the week, as well as, daily nurse visits. Patients are assigned to specific nurses each day. We are a friendly, team-oriented group and take great pride in providing the best wound care for our patients! A RN Wound Care

who excels in this role: Coordinates the patient care of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient's spiritual and cultural differences in accordance with the PA State Board of Nursing Licensure requirement and ANA Scope of Standard of Practice. Makes decisions and judgments in preventing, analyzing and resolving patient care concerns using critical thinking skills. Continuously maintain/updates wound care knowledge with new and current treatment modalities. Participates in Performance/Process Improvement activities. Collaborates with physician as part of the Interdisciplinary Team. Oversees, provides and coordinates delivery of patient care for wound patients. Provides direct care and oversees/coordinates total quality care. Provides input on budget issues affecting efficient care delivery, judicious use of products, clinic organization and staffing patterns. Performs proper hand hygiene.
