Braun Medical, visit Position Summary: Maintenance Mechanic responsible for repairs , trouble shooting, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance of equipment and processes to ensure efficient production, primarily in the Weigh/Mix /Sterilization operations for the main plant

Perform all duties strictly according to Safety Regulations, cGMPs, SOPs, and other internal and external regulations. Responsibilities: Essential Duties

Performs scheduled maintenance on facilities equipment and systems. Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions. Initiates improvement on the functionality of facilities equipment and systems to increase its efficiency. For more senior position, might acts as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices Documents activities accordingly. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills Required to apply comprehensive working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs comprehensive shop floor competencies. Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers. May require some limited judgement in resolving problems. Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required: High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred. Related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level. Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed. Regular and predictable on-site attendance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
