ADP Workforce Now Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, with a strong focus on
California labor and wage regulations Review and reconcile payroll reports, including wages, deductions, taxes, and benefits Oversee payroll tax filings, W-2s, and year-end reporting; coordinate with ADP and external auditors as needed Manage payroll-related audits and respond to government inquiries Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate employee data and deductions Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls Handle garnishments, bonuses, commissions, PTO accruals, and retroactive pay adjustments Train and support payroll staff or cross-functional partners on payroll processes and ADP functionality Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancements Required Qualifications
5+ years of payroll experience , with at least
California payroll laws , including overtime, meal/rest premiums, and final pay requirements Experience with multi-state payroll processing Proficiency in payroll tax compliance and reporting Strong Excel skills and experience working with HRIS and accounting systems Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines Preferred Qualifications
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation Experience supporting companies with 800+ employees Background in high-growth or complex payroll environments Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
