Medical Laboratory Manager

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee multi-site laboratory operations while ensuring full compliance with CLIA and COLA standards. This is a leadership role for someone who understands regulatory oversight, quality systems, and hands-on lab operations. The Laboratory Manager will provide operational direction, regulatory guidance, and technical expertise to maintain high-quality testing standards and efficient workflows across all lab locations. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Regulatory Compliance (CLIA & COLA)

• Ensure full compliance with CLIA and COLA standards • Maintain QC reports, maintenance logs, calibration/linearity documentation, proficiency testing, and corrective action plans • Serve as the representative during inspections

Laboratory Operations • Lead day-to-day lab functions • Troubleshoot and operate instrumentation as needed • Oversee sample processing and ensure timely turnaround times

Test Validation & Quality Assurance • Develop and execute validation studies for new assays • Perform statistical analysis using EP Evaluator • Maintain strong documentation and quality standards

Policy Development & Staff Training • Develop and update laboratory protocols • Train staff and maintain competency documentation • Stay current with regulatory and industry changes

Operational & Financial Oversight • Improve operational efficiency and manage costs • Analyze historical data to support staffing, scheduling, and budgeting decisions Instrumentation Experience Preferred: • Beckman Coulter AU700 Chemistry Analyzer • Beckman Coulter DXI 800 Immunoassay Analyzer • Sysmex CBC Analyzer • Beckman Coulter Urinalysis Analyzer • Thermo Fisher Quant 12 • Bio-Rad Molecular Instrument • Beckman Coulter Microscan
