Addiction Counselor Job Description: Addiction Counselor Location: Pittsburgh, PA, 15233 Skills: Provide both individual and group counseling in a Medication-Assisted Outpatient Treatment Facility both in person and via telehealth (if available) AWOL Engagement Calls Collaborate with other treatment providers to assist client as needed Complete individualized treatment plans Responsible for scheduling and completing counseling appointments Must write up all required documentation, devising appropriate interventions and treatment plans Completes annual educational requirements Seeks and responds to supervision Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time Demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with clients, staff, the public and other entities Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Possess basic computer skills Good typing skills Bachelor's or Master's preferred Associates in a related field WITH one year experience Work Environment: Moderation in temperature, noise Sitting at desk for hours Close vision at a computer Repetitive motions for computer use Compensation details: 35000-42000 PIe80d23eaae24-25448-38656074
