We're growing! D.R. Horton, Inc.
in Western PA is currently looking for a
Purchasing Agent
for their Division Purchasing Department. The right candidate will bid on new projects, maintain scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, etc. This is an in-office position in our Sewickley location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:
Solicit bids
Pre-qualify subcontractors
Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices
Maintain and update current budgets
Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases
Prepare direct cost analysis and variances for review
Input original Direct Costs budget
Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
