Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Xray Technician role based in Sarasota, FL. The Xray Technician will be responsible for safely performing and managing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, and supporting the medical team by preparing imaging documents for diagnosis. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, managing patient records, and providing excellent patient care in accordance with the practice's high standards. There will also be some MA responsibilities, such as well rooming patients, cast and splint application, drawing up injections, suture removal etc.

Qualifications Proficiency in Radiation Safety and Radiologic Technology Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Experience and expertise in Radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures Knowledge of medical practices as they pertain to radiologic imaging Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a patient-friendly experience BLS certification and prior experience in an orthopedic or clinical environment are a plus
