*Position Overview*
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Therapist - Clinical Director who is passionate about both hands-on patient care and clinical leadership. This role blends direct clinical treatment with operational oversightโideal for someone who enjoys mentoring other therapists, supporting team growth, and ensuring the highest standards of care and efficiency across the practice.
*Key Responsibilities*
Clinical Care (Approximately 85%)
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation.
* Deliver care using a holistic, whole-person approach that considers physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors impacting recovery and performance.
* Educate patients on movement, injury prevention, and overall wellness to support sustainable results.
* Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Develop individualized care plans that empower patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
* Reassess patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR system.
* Support clinic wellness initiatives, workshops, or community outreach related to injury prevention and functional health.
Leadership & Management (Approximately 15%)
* Supervise and mentor Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
* Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to best practices.
* Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to clinical team members.
* Support hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of clinical staff as needed.
* Monitor clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement operational policies and clinical protocols.
* Serve as a liaison between staff and management to promote clear communication and a positive work environment.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
* Arizona Physical Therapist License
* Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience.
* Prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to balance patient care responsibilities with administrative duties
* Must be able to life 50 lbs. as we have patients that may need assistance in lifting certain equipment and have trouble standing, walking, and/or balancing.
