$3,140 (weekly) Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based contract assignment. The Nuclear Tech will perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and imaging accuracy. Key Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging and procedures Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals Operate gamma cameras and related equipment Monitor patients during procedures Ensure radiation safety and ALARA compliance Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff Required Qualifications Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (State of New York, if applicable) ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required Current BLS/CPR certification Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards Excellent patient care and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior hospital / acute care nuclear medicine experience Experience with PET/CT (facility-dependent) EMR / PACS proficiency Work Schedule Five 8-hour daytime shifts per week Hospital clinical environment Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay: $3,140 Potential additional benefits (if applicable): stipends, travel reimbursement, insurance options
