Manufacturing Engineer (San Diego)

The Manufacturing Engineering will support Gas Compressors Production. The role includes but is not limited to releasing manufacturing bill of material, creating build instructions, troubleshooting equipment, develop manufacturing methods for new products, and apply lean principles to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. The role may involve working with CNC programs, balancing rotating components and supporting product testing. The role will drive continuous improvement to meet production targets.

Must Haves: 1 year of engineering experience with a Bachelor's Degree 2 - 3 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing company without a degree Formal education in or working experience with GD&T; must be very strong with GD&T Ability to read engineering drawings in CAD (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, ProE, etc.) Knowledge or working experience of Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles

Pluses: Experience creating work instructions for engineering equipment Experience with BAAN ERP Lean Six Sigma certified Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Compensation: $31.00/hour to $43.00/hour depending on education level and experience
