Machine Shop Supervisor

Braxton Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Conventional (Non-CNC) Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of machining processes and proficiency in various manufacturing technologies. Job requirements include a minimum of 5 years' experience with equipment in milling, lathe, surface grinders, ID/OD grinding and jig bores. Candidate must be mechanically inclined with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, possess strong math skills, be quality aware and demonstrate attention to detail to troubleshoot, determine corrective action, repair and rebuild equipment required to manufacture precision metal components according to specifications. This position is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, work in conjunction with multiple support and production departments as well as help guide, lead and train peers and apprentices.The ability to prioritize, schedule projects and maintain timelines for project completion is required.
