2 years Med/Surg RN experience Travel experience required (first timers not accepted) Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application with ETA) BLS Certification required Cerner experience required Preferred Previous Charge Experience Trauma Level II experience Teaching hospital experience Required Clinical Experience Cardiac Monitoring Telemetry (remote monitoring) Rapid Response Teams Dysrhythmia interpretation & management (preferred) IV Therapy Accessing/Managing Ports Blood Product Administration Central Line Blood Draw Peripheral & PICC Line Management IV Starts Phlebotomy (preferred) Respiratory BiPAP / CPAP HFNC Tracheostomy Care Oral Suctioning Oxygen Administration & Portable Tanks Non-Invasive Airway Management ABG Interpretation (preferred) Chest Tubes (preferred) Gastrointestinal Colostomy/Ileostomy Care Feeding Tube Management Renal Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Renal Failure Medications Heparin Insulin PCA Additional Experience Wound Care / Wound Vac Isolation Precautions CBI's (preferred) Neuro, GI bleed, Sepsis, CHF, DKA, ARF, AKI, Amputations Special Procedures & Equipment Peritoneal & Hemodialysis Thoracentesis Foot & Leg Amputations Bladder Scanners Glucometers Vital Carts Sit-to-Stand & Lift Equipment Strong interdisciplinary support including IV Team, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response, Social Services, and Unit Secretary.
