Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Location: New York, NY 10032 Shift: Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts available Duration: 5 weeks with the strong possibility of further extension Pay range: $25-30/hr.

Essential Job Duties: Assist patients in maintaining personal hygiene. Maintains confidentiality of patient information Transports patients to and from various departments as required. Picks up and delivers specimens to laboratories as required. Assist patients in and out of bed. Maintains and replenishes patients’ supplies. Distributes, collects, and empties bedpans, urinals, and labels specimens as required. Answers patient light signal and relays messages when appropriate. Cleans and maintains all patient care equipment. Performs post-mortem care and transports bodies to the morgue. Prepares patient for operation or other procedures as required.

Required: High school diploma or GED NY state CNA license required Basic Life Support - AHA 1 year of experience
