Position Summary: The Line Leader/Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of machines in the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) department. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate the machine to meet production expectations. Assist with the direction of employees working on the line. Properly set up the machine to operate safely, while meeting production expectations. Properly clean the machine at the end of the shift. Assist with paperwork as needed. Perform safety inspections (guards, e-stop, etc.) daily. Properly correct errors with the equipment (film jams, error codes, etc.) following all the required safety procedures. All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: Ability to legally work in the United States is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred. 2 years related work experience is preferred. Working Conditions: Must be able to lift up to and including 50 pounds. Able to push and pull items in excess of 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Able to grip and grasp small objects repeatedly. Must have good hand/eye coordination. Able to work in a cold, damp environment. Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less. Able to stand for 8-9 hours per day. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties. Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week. Pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
