Job Description:

The Enterprise Analyst has the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, and manage the needs of the project stakeholders, including customers, vendors and end users. The Enterprise Analyst:

Documents the projects vision, problem statement, scope, and the high-level requirements.

Captures business needs through processes, requirements, business rules and related documentation.

Ensure requirements are reviewed with the project team (SMEs) to ensure required level of detail is documented based on the project needs.

Ability to translate requirements into useful artifacts needed by technical and non-technical delivery teams to deliver solutions; using creative approaches where needed and highlighting for management any deviation to standards

Works effectively with business and technical teams, bringing an enterprise, cross-functional perspective to the project team(s) resulting in unified business requirements and streamlined processes that meet the projects goals and objectives.

General Functions and Outcomes

Leads the project discovery activities to document the projects vision, scope, and business needs (high-level requirements). This includes:

Understanding and presenting the problem to help the business understand what proposed solution is, or might need to be, helping the operations areas to understand the potential impacts and needs; this includes understanding of and ability to produce the right artifacts to help support facilitation of these discussions (i.e. current state and future state process flows and identifying the gaps to be addressed)

Identifying project stakeholders and leading activities to elicit requirements (using interviews, requirements sessions, etc.)

Collaborating with IT (DTS, CAIO, etc.) on how to incorporate technical solutions into conversations with the business regarding business requirements; hypothesize on the solution to better inform requirements

Documenting current state environment that the project intends to change or augment (i.e. process, tool, etc.) to support the projects objectives

Works with stakeholders to establish a plan for approaching requirements elicitation and communicating to stakeholders what to expect (timeframes and level of engagement)

Provides instruction/mentorship to both internal and external team members regarding project scope and requirements methods, tools, deliverables content, and related documents and plans.

Serves as an escalation point for team issues or questions; ability to track and solve these and escalates to project management for support and project-level visibility.

Writes requirements specifications according to standard templates, using simple, clear, unambiguous, and concise language. This includes decomposing high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who deliver to meet the requirements.

Ensure all requirements are understood, documented, approved by business stakeholders and accepted by delivery teams.

Manages changes to baselined requirements through effective application of change control processes, tools and communications.

Ensures alignment of expectations between project team members to ensure effective achievement of stated goals. This includes identifying, addressing and/or escalating any related risks and issues to scope, budget or timeline.

Supports change management activities (training, communications, etc.) through consulting on contents.

Ensure alignment on analyst deliverables through regular status reports inclusive of related risks and issues.

Establishing standards and expectations for EA deliverables for quality and consistency

Establishing communication expectations for deliverables

Coordinating cross-project activities and dependencies

Providing resource forecasts to support staffing discussions

Minimum Requirements

Familiarity with [company] business processes enterprise wide and Healthcare terminology

Ability to lay out an analysis plan and approach on large and/or complex project or programs (>20 teams 100+ stakeholders)

Ability to estimate EA time allocation required for any given assignment

Ability to manage expectations with stakeholders on large, ambiguous assignments

Ability to facilitate large group discussions, excellent interviewing and facilitation skills

Ability to manage change (track and communicate change to align team in common understanding)

Makes significant contributions to improving team effectiveness through changes to the methodology, tools, and/or team processes

Ability to work independently, to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve operational standards

Ability to lead teams (10+ people) for complex work efforts which includes estimating, coordinating, tracking progress, inspiring other to complete tasks on time, assisting with resolving issues and creating status reports. Ability to present and effectively communicate with leadership.

Strong leadership with proven ability to motivate teams to achieve defined deliverables and work effectively with clients.

Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and self-direction.

Able to lead requirements sessions/ interviews for cross functional and highly complex work efforts

Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired

Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above

Enterprise Analyst Senior would have a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience on large projects and ones that include ambiguous ideas at initiation and experience leading other analysts on large projects or programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. IIBA Certification preferred (CCBA, CBAP)

Location: Remote - Candidates MUST reside in one of the four states in which [company] operates: Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah.
