Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to our clients in various legal matters. This is a great opportunity for a talented attorney to gain valuable experience and contribute to our growing practice.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and agreements Assist with legal administrative tasks, such as document management and file organization Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions Prepare for and assist in the litigation process Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the New Mexico State Bar Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Skills: Experience in legal drafting and contract negotiation Knowledge of specific practice areas relevant to the firm's focus We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,486.00 - $119,657.00 per year
