Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Occupational Medicine
Rocklin, CA | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | No evenings or weekends
$25,000 Hiring Bonus + Competitive Base Salary + Monthly/Quarterly Incentives

Position Overview
Under established medical protocols and in collaboration with supervising physicians, the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides primary clinical care within an occupational health setting. This includes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of work‑related injuries and general employee health needs.
Schedule & Location
Rocklin, CA clinic
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
No nights, weekends, or on‑call

Key Responsibilities
Perform patient examinations and compile medical histories and clinical data.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X‑ray, EKG, labs).
Identify deviations from normal results and determine appropriate treatment plans.
Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
Counsel patients on treatment plans, compliance, and preventive health.
Develop and document patient management plans and progress notes.
Support continuity of care across the occupational health program.
Assist in developing and revising clinical policies and quality standards.
Participate in staff education and training initiatives.
Deliver excellent customer service aligned with organizational values.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation.
Adapt to changing business needs, including schedule adjustments when appropriate.
Seek opportunities for ongoing clinical development and skill enhancement.
Collaborate effectively with patients, clients, supervisors, and peers.
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient‑centered clinic environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in a related health field
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
Active state licensure (PA or NP)
Board certification required
DEA license required prior to start date
FMCSA NRCME certification required (training provided if needed)
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred
Procedural proficiency preferred (suturing, laceration repair, foreign body removal, etc.)
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
Knowledge of occupational medicine standards and state‑specific requirements
Understanding of workers’ compensation processes and regulations
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
