Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for night shifts with at least 2 years of recent hospital-based CT and X-Ray experience, ARRT certification, and BLS.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based setting performing both CT and X-Ray imaging
Night shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Shifts are 12 hours, totaling 36 hours per week
Procedures include fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm imaging
Care provided to patients of all age groups
May operate equipment in operating rooms, emergency room, or at patient bedsides
Radiation protection protocols must be followed at all times
On-call details to be determined as needed
Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the regular schedule
Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
Responsible for positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
Expected to maintain strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Must be capable of prioritizing and organizing daily workflow efficiently
Basic computer skills required
Dress code is hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs; closed-toe shoes required; no hooded sweatshirts; hair secured if long; no dangling earrings
Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, with no more than 5 days allowed during the assignment
All ages of patients to be served, requiring adaptability and comprehensive clinical competence
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent CT tech experience in a hospital setting
Minimum 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience in a hospital setting
Proficient with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
Experience working with patients of all age groups
Active ARRT certification required
Active American Heart Association BLS required
New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required, or a state equivalent (license required if applicable)
Previous travel experience is preferred
Must have own vehicle for transportation
