Salary range: $108,000-$150,00BenefitsPaid time off401k, with company matchCompany sponsored life insuranceMedical, dental, vision plansVoluntary short-term/long-term disability insuranceVoluntary life, accident, and hospital plansEmployee Assistance ProgramCommuter benefitsEmployee DiscountsFree hot healthy meals for unit operations rolesMain Duties and Responsibilities:Financial ReportingResponsible for Unit by Unit financial reporting process including month-end reporting, budgets, and interim forecasts.Support Unit managers in generating business plan and budget submissions.ControllingEnsure corporate policies and procedures are adhered to at Units.Identify control weaknesses and implement cost control initiatives.Test internal control procedures at Units and interaction with headquarters and outsource companies:Accounts Payable - end to end AP process controls with Datamatics, per AP ManualBilling - quality of direct data entry at Units and hand-off to Central BillingPayroll - control around Kronos time & attendance, quality of input to UltiproGeneral Ledger - monitoring SAP transactions in line with SAP Unit Controlling ManualAnalysis and Performance DrivingDevelop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to track material and labor costs by Unit.Analyze financial trends, define and initiate corrective measures.Drive Unit productivity goals through regular Continuous Improvement reviews with General Managers and Process Owners.Assist Unit in planning labor based on forecasted business changes.Customer ProfitabilityReview pricing proposals for customers and assist Area VP in pricing decisionsAssist the Units in maintaining effective analysis of profit and loss by customerQualificationsEducation:BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)Work Experience:7 years of experience in a related fieldBroad knowledge of finance, controlling, and cash managementTechnical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)noneLanguage / Communication Skills:Effective oral and written communication skillsJob DimensionsGeographic Responsibility: Unit or RegionType of Employment: Full-timeTravel %: 10%Exemption Classification: ExemptInternal Relationships: Employees at all levels of the organizationExternal Relationships: CustomersWork Environment / Requirements of the Job:Regularly sitting at a desk, using fingers to operate a computer key board, reaching for telephone or books with hands or arms, and talk or hear while on the phone or communicating with others.Normal office environmentBudget / Revenue Responsibility: (Local Currency)Organization StructureDirect Line Manager (Title): Dir, Field ControllingDotted Line Manager (Title, if applicable): 0Number of Direct Reports: varies by location, up to 5Number of Dotted Line Reports: 0Estimated Total Size of Team: up to 7gategroup Competencies Required to be Successful in the Job:Thinking - Information Search and analysis & problem resolution skillsEngaging - Understanding others, Team Leadership and Developing PeopleInspiring - Influencing and building relationships, Motivating and Inspiring, Communicating effectivelyAchieving - Delivering business results under pressure, Championing Performance Improvement and Customer FocusDemonstrated Values to be Successful in the PositionEmployees at gategroup are expected to live our Values of Excellence, Integrity, Passion and Accountability.
