You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, delegates and coordinates treatment plans and the plan of care.

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS 1. Texas or Compact State Nursing License 2. BCLS Certification 3. NRP Certification 4. Stable Course Certification

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 1. Graduate from an Associate Degree Program or RN Diploma OR 2. Graduate from a Bachelor Degree of Nursing Program 3. Effective oral and written communication skills 4. Ability to work within a team to ensure quality care 5. Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills 6. Critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize needs continuously. 7. Basic computer skills needed.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 1. Preferred health care experience 2. Preferred Neonatal experience
