Warehouse/Kitter

Position Summary This role consists of ensuring that production orders are picked (kitted) properly to the specific line. In addition to kitting, the role will also include updating item locations and quantities with the computer systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:· Verify information provided by production planner· Supply production lines with proper materials for assembly· Communicate with production planning, supervisors and operators· Respond quickly to immediate needs of production· Maintain a clean and organized work area· Safe operations of mobile equipment (Big Joe, Tugger, Forklifts)· Interface with computer systems to support production and warehouse activities

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) · High school or equivalent· Warehouse experience preferred · Good communication skills· Computer skills for data entry · Ability to drive forklift and/or standup up lifts· Ability to multitask · Must be reliable, flexible and a team player · Willing to cross train in other areas
