We are a fast-paced Texas family law firm seeking an experienced
Family Law Paralegal
to step into an established caseload. This role replaces a departing paralegal whose cases are current and well-maintained; there is no backlog or cleanup required.
This position is ideal for a paralegal who thrives on autonomy, takes ownership of their work, and values professionalism, clear boundaries, and mutual respect.
Compensation:
$55,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Draft original petitions, answers, counterpetitions, motions, discovery, and orders
Prepare and manage discovery (requests, responses, supplementation)
Draft mediation summaries and trial prep materials
Maintain client communication and manage expectations
Calendar and track deadlines
Communicate with opposing counsel professionally and strategically
Assist attorneys in trial preparation
Qualifications:
Only applicants with relevant Family Law experience will be considered for this position.
3+ years of Texas family law experience (required)
Strong drafting ability (samples may be requested)
Experience managing a large caseload
Proficient in e-filing and Texas court procedures
Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
