Facilities Technician II
About This Role
The FacilitiesTechnicianIIsupports the reliable operation of plant utility systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. This roleis responsible foroperating,maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical utility systems that supportcGMP areas and controlled spaces.This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and continuous facility operations.

WhatYoullDo
Operate,maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant utility systems, including:
Medium-pressure boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors
Reverse Osmosis (RO), USP water systems, water softeners, WFI stills, and clean steam generators
Nitrogen and compressed gas delivery systems
Electrical systems, including lighting
Fire monitoring and sprinkler systems
HEPA certifications, biosafety cabinets, and parts washers
Respond to alarms forcGMP areas and controlled spaces and provideappropriate communicationand escalation
Perform basic HVAC-R alarm response and coordination (stability chambers, freezers, cold rooms)
Offload, inspect,operate, maintain, and respond to alarms or spills related to hazardous waste tank systems
Monitor mechanical spaces for leaks, local alarms, and system abnormalities across all buildings
Support hazardous waste handling and process waste streams in compliance with site and regulatory requirements
UseLogCheckor similar tools to complete daily inspections and documentation
Author and update SOPs and preventive maintenance (PM) procedures
Who You Are
A safety-focused facilities professional with a strong understanding of industrial utility systems, comfortable working in regulatedcGMP environments witha highattention to detail. This individual is a strong communicator who can clearly document work and effectively presentinformation to groups, while remaining team-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and changing priorities.
Willing and able to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and weekends asrequired.
Required Skills
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in an industrial or large-scale utility plant environment supporting multiple systems
Demonstratedunderstanding of utility systems, mechanical principles, and industrial safety practices
Prior experience inbiotechorcGMP-regulated manufacturing environments
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and utility equipment
Understanding of control systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Preferred Skills
Completedtwo yeartrade school program
Previousexperiencedraft SOPs and author preventive maintenance procedures

The base compensation range for this role is: -
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
