Sprague is expanding aggressively from our Medford branch into Northern California, one of the most strategically important and fastest-growing regions in our entire service network. We are seeking a bilingual, hunter-style Outside Sales Representative who is ready to own a wide-open territory with enormous earning potential.
You will serve as the face of Sprague for major opportunity markets including:
Food production and processing
Warehousing and logistics hubs
Medical and healthcare facilities
Multifamily housing
Agricultural fumigation clients

What You’ll Do
New Business Development
Prospect, cold call, and generate new business daily, targeting Redding, Chico, Red Bluff, and surrounding communities
Identify and penetrate food-production clusters, manufacturing corridors, and commercial hubs
Build and maintain a robust self-generated pipeline
Develop referral networks and uncover untapped markets
Represent Sprague at industry events, customer sites, and regional trade shows
Client Discovery & Consultative Sales
Conduct onsite inspections to assess operational and facility-specific needs
Develop custom proposals and present integrated pest-prevention solutions
Collaborate closely with Medford branch managers, technicians, fumigation teams, and specialists
Support bids, specialty projects, and RFP responses
Account Ownership & Retention
Build deep, long-term client relationships rooted in service and integrity
Conduct business reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and cross-sell services
Connect clients early with route managers and technicians to ensure smooth onboarding

Competitive base salary ($55,000-$65,000) + uncapped commission (Sales reps hitting target earn $100,000+ in their first year)

Requirements:
Who We’re Looking For
Required
2+ years B2B sales experience (Preferably in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, food production, facility services, etc.)
Self-motivated hunter with a strong ownership mentality
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with frequent travel and long driving days
Ability to meet pre-hire screening requirements:
5+ years Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
Criminal Background Check: Federal, State, County
Employment and Education verification
DOT Physical with 5-Panel Drug Screen
Strongly Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience in food production, manufacturing, distribution, or facility-based industries
Experience in pest management or environmental services
CRM proficiency (Salesforce a plus)

Environment and Physical Demands:
Frequently sitting at a desk to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment
Constantly communicating with internal and external customers by telephone, in-person, and over email
Frequently walking, reaching, and/or stooping to access equipment and supplies
Frequently lifting to 20lbs
