*About the Role*

The Judge Group is seeking a talented Network Engineer II to join our client’s team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced telecommunications systems. You’ll play a key part in ensuring network reliability, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery across RF, IF, and baseband technologies.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Assist in the installation, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of earth station telecommunications and related equipment. * Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of satellite and network systems using standard tools and procedures. * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective workflows. * Monitor network performance for anomalies, escalate issues as needed, and take proactive measures to maintain service levels. * Support the assembly, configuration, and testing of satellite and network components, including modems, routers, switches, amplifiers, and multiplexers. * Coordinate with internal and external teams during service testing and activation. * Work closely with government, domestic, and international clients to ensure the highest level of service for their circuits. * Maintain site operations independently during assigned shifts. * Commission VSAT terminals (I-Direct and Newtec networks) and support multiple VSAT hubs delivering critical services. * Execute emergency restoration procedures following power or network failures. * Foster strong collaboration with internal departments and external partners for timely task completion. * Provide 24x7 rotational shift support, including weekends, on-call coverage, and last-minute flexibility as required.

*Qualifications Required*:

* Associate’s degree in Electronics/Telecommunications or 2–4 years of equivalent experience in RF/Satellite communications. * 4+ years of experience in Satellite Network Communications. * 1+ years of experience with IP Technologies.

Preferred:

* Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electronics/Telecommunications. * CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant Cisco certifications. * Additional Satellite or IP certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
