Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney or Partner (3+ yrs) – Global Am Law Firm (Chicago)

About the Position: Our client, a Midwest-based international law firm, has an active need for a trusts and estates lawyer to join as an associate or partner in Chicago (title will depend on level of experience). This firm’s client list includes nearly one-third of Fortune 100 companies, and the firm has been recognized for its long-standing commitment to pro bono service.

Responsibilities: · Draft complex estate plan and business succession planning documents for high-net-worth individuals as well as complex charitable giving documents · Counsel clients on income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning

Required Qualifications: · 3+ years of experience with high-net-worth estate plan and trust agreement drafting, estate and trust administration, and charitable planning · Large or midsize law firm experience preferred

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000+. (Compensation will be significantly higher at the partner level.)
