Job Description

The Manager, Outbound Transportation is responsible for overseeing all outbound logistics operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods to customers, fulfillment centers, and retail locations. This role manages carrier relationships, optimizes transportation networks, controls freight spend, and ensures service excellence across the outbound supply chain.

Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day relationship with our outbound freight vendors. Analyze freight invoices and spend to ensure systems and processes are being executed effectively to ensure spend is in line with financial budget. Work directly with our domestic vendor community to ensure they are adhering to the standards outlined in the Domestic Vendor Standards Manual. Work cross-functionally with Merchandise and Planning to ensure domestic vendors are delivering the best customer experience. Foster relationships with our domestic vendors and provide collaboration and support to improve their operations.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of freight modes (LTL, FTL, parcel, ocean, air). Expertise in TMS platforms and transportation analytics. Experience managing carrier contracts and freight budgets. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) desired but not required. 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
