Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Telemetry assignment requiring an active IL RN license and extensive Stepdown experience. Responsibilities Position is in a hospital stepdown/telemetry unit serving progressive care patients Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12 hour shifts per week Patient ratio is typically 1:4-5 Floating may be required among local campuses within the same discipline Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Uses Epic EMR system, Epic experience required First time travelers are accepted Supervisory or charge/supervisor/manager reference from within the last 2 years preferred Travelers are expected to contribute clinical expertise within an interdisciplinary team Local candidates within 50 miles considered at reduced rate Must be willing to float within same discipline as needed Mandatory orientation is provided Returning travelers may face restrictions if employed within the past 12 months Requirements Active IL RN license at time of consideration Active IA RN license or proof of IA or Compact license application required Minimum of 2 years recent Stepdown or Progressive Care experience required BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or Red Cross required Must have Epic charting experience Driver's license required for consideration 24 months of Stepdown/Progressive Care experience must be reflected in work history or resume Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-664998.
