A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician Lead: Residential and Commercial install, service/repair, and disconnects* (data, video, phone) on customer premises Assist supervisors and technicians with escalations and specialized work orders Ensure/record correct RF and signal levels within specifications Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed Customer education Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the Table: 2+ years experience as a technician in the telecommunications industry (6+ months satisfactory metrics with Hybrid Fiber- Coaxial (HFC) network experience preferred) Proficiency in problem-solving, time management, and basic computer skills Experience with power tools, reading and interpreting NIMS and AutoCAD maps Must possess a working knowledge of phone/IP networks and POS systems, and ability to effectively communicate the differentiation Strong customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record compliant with the company policy Education
