What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE essential. Proven experience teaching Design & Technology in a Senior School environment. Strong understanding of 3D Design, Engineering and design software/tools. Experience in curriculum leadership or a genuine desire to take on a leadership role. Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills. A passion for inspiring young people through creative, practical learning experiences. Plan, implement and deliver a broad, balanced and adaptive Design & Technology curriculum. Teach across Design & Technology, 3D Design and Engineering at Senior School level. Support students’ academic and personal development as a form tutor. Promote high standards of behaviour and engagement through creative, purposeful teaching. Monitor student progress and attainment, ensuring all learners reach their potential. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the Senior School.
