KeyResponsibilities Carryoutself-directed testing,diagnostics,repair,maintenance,modification,calibrationandmanufacture ofequipmentdowntomoduleandindividualcomponentlevelusingapprovedengineeringdocumentation. Perform plannedandad-hocadvancedrepairs usingApprovedSourceInformation(ASI)orOEMtechnicaldata. Survey,refurbishandmaintainGroundSupportEquipment(GSE)torequiredstandards. Hold self-certification,over-signing,certifyingandconditioningresponsibilities ,includingserviceable,unserviceableandscrapstatus. Supervise,trainandover-signworkcompletedbyjuniorstaff,equivalentgradesandapprentices. Support feasibilityanddevelopmentactivities ,includingreverseengineeringandthecreationofengineeringdocumentationandtestprocedures. Provide specialisttechnicaladvice asrequired. Usearangeof engineeringandbusinessITsystems . Workwithinestablished engineeringgovernanceframeworks ,ensuringcompliancewithpolicies,proceduresandlegislation. Supporttheresolutionof urgentoperationalrequirements ,particularlywhereOEMsupportisunavailable. Worktoagreed schedules,budgetsandqualitystandards whilemaintainingastrongfocusonsafety.
