*Job Title* - Registered Care Home Manager
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
*Salary *- £46,000 up to £ 50,000 inclusive subject to the level of depth of experience and qualifications.
There is an additional 5k performance related bonus split into quarterly payments .
Immediate Access to a premium employee assist programme - EAP.

Established 6 Bedded Home
This home has a highly committed/passionate full staff team that requires a care home manager for continued support and development.
*Hours *- average 40 per week but must be flexible to meet the _needs of the home_. This may include varying your start time - working evenings and weekends if required & stepping in occasionally to do staff cover.
*Travel* - To live within an easy catchment area of the home.
A clean UK Drivers Licence ( manual)
*Qualifications* Level QCF 5 diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare .
Experience ( at least two - five years as an established registered manager)
To have been a designated safeguarding officer
A clear understanding of Acas Standards for Investigations and Disciplinaries.
Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office 365 /shared drive.
Sound Knowledge of RISCA Regulations and Compliance.
Good all round professional communication & people skills.
Must have The ability to deliver staff training and mentoring sessions.

We have a new opportunity for an exceptional individual with previous management experience within a similar children’s care home setting to join our existing staff team as a registered manager. You must clearly demonstrate a proven track record of quality care from previous inspections. You must be highly efficient with good organisation and people skill’s.
To be able to motivate and inspire your care staff team in good practice who in turn will nurture and create pathways for children to grow into happy confident competent young people.
*Role and Responsibilities:*
* To work closely with our R.I and Company Director's to develop a strong relationship with our customers, and stakeholders.
* To promote the rights of each person in a child centred approach and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support.
* To ensure that all staff within your service have the correct skills and experience and are matched to deliver excellent care for the clients that we support.
* To maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the service.
* To fulfil the registration requirements and performance standards required by the CIW and RISCA regulations.
* To complete assessments for the children we support, support plans and risk assessments.
* To deliver a high standard of support services for the children we support.
* To ensure high standards and best practices are maintained at all times.
* To familiarise all employees with company policies and procedures and ensuring these are being followed correctly.
* To support, develop and managing support staff.
* To ensure all records are maintained, monitored and evaluated to ensure effectiveness.
* To provide leadership and consultation with your team including supervisions and appraisals.
* To deliver on-going and mentoring and training as part of staff development and continuous improvement.
* To effectively resolve any conflict with individuals or staff teams.
* To ensure that absences are tightly managed inline with our employee handbook policies.
* To work with our HR and Admin team to recruit, select and hire potential staff in accordance to relevant job descriptions.
* To complete, maintaining and submitting reports and records to regulating bodies as required.
* To manage the rota coordination team to supply timely rotas for staff.
* To hold regular staff and management meetings.
* To work within the on call system taking responsibility for the communication and support to the services.
* Resource efficiency – utilities – budgets- creativity- respect for company assets – to promote a repair and maintain ethos.
*What we’re looking for in a Registered Manager:*
* You will need to be experienced, driven and passionate individual with experience working with children who can present as challenging.
* You will need to have achieved your QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or QCF Level 4 in Management for Childrens Residential services.
* You will have previous experience working within a management role, at demonstrable experience of management within a residential childcare service.
* You are required to be computer literate, have strong relationship building skills and customer service skills.
* You will have experience of the childcare sector, the regulatory framework, service delivery with excellent working knowledge of the essential standards and statutory inspections in social care.
* You will need experience of developing strong relationships with the people we support, family members, health professionals, local authorities, including GPs and social workers.
* You will need to demonstrate a high level of personal integrity towards providing an exceptional standard of service.
* To be reliable and a positive professional role model that your staff team can learn from and respect .
