KS2 PPA Teachers Required - Easter to July Part-Time Afternoons - Music / MFL Specialisms - Veritas Education - Contact: Sarah Maclachlan Veritas Education is working with a forward-thinking and supportive primary school seeking two experienced and dynamic KS2 PPA Teachers to join their team from Easter until July, with the possibility of continuation into the next academic year. These roles have been created due to staffing changes and are highly valued positions within the school's structure. Role Details Both teachers will work the same afternoon pattern: 1:15pm - 3:15pm (daily) Tuesday: Year 5 Wednesday: Year 3 Thursday: Year 6 Friday: Year 4 Specialisms Required Between the two appointed teachers, the school requires coverage for: Music MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) - one teacher will also take on the role of MFL subject leader The school will also consider strong, versatile teachers without these specialisms, provided they are willing and able to teach these subjects confidently. What the School Needs These roles require teachers who can: Deliver high-quality PPA cover across KS2 Plan and deliver schemes of work in the relevant subjects Demonstrate strong behaviour management, as these PPA slots are the most challenging point of the week Adapt to teaching a variety of subjects delegated on the PPA rota Work independently and contribute to a positive school culture Contract Duration Easter - July (initially) Potential continuation into the next academic year, pending internal structural review School Location Lancaster Application Process Veritas Education is shortlisting candidates immediately, with the school requesting CVs before Wednesday 4th March.
