The OpportunityThis is a rare in-house tax appointment at one of the world's most prestigious independent investment banks, a firm that has built its reputation on excellence, integrity, and the quality of its people.We are working on an exclusive basis to find a technically outstanding Partnership Tax Senior Manager or Manager to take full ownership of all tax matters for the firm's London-based FCA-regulated LLP, a mixed-member partnership. Partnership structures mean the financial upside for high performers is real and meaningful.Global reach — You'll work alongside a multinational finance organisation with cross-border projects, global mobility matters, and exposure to a broad international tax agenda beyond your core partnership remit.The key responsibilitiesYou will take full ownership of:All compliance and advisory matters for a c.50-member mixed-member LLP, including members' self-assessment, payments on account, profit share calculations, and year-end tax reservesAnnual Salaried Member Review testing and executive reporting to senior managementOnboarding of new partners — HMRC registration, drawings set-up, and collaboration with Human Capital on termsOversight of the annual partnership tax returnMonitoring legislative developments affecting UK partnerships and briefing senior leadershipContributing to the rolling cash flow forecast and the firm's broader Finance Transformation ProgrammeSupporting corporate tax provisioning and EMEA & Asia tax filings as neededWhat We're Looking ForQualified CTA and/or ACA/ACCA with at least 5 years' post-qualification tax experienceStrong, demonstrable knowledge of UK partnership tax — and ideally some knowledge or experience of SMR, MMR, BPR, and relevant case lawExperience in a practice or in-house environment with LLP or mixed-member partnership exposureRSU accounting and taxation knowledge is advantageousA commercially minded, detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentExceptional communication skills — you will be the primary tax point of contact for senior partners and individual membersHow to ApplyThis search is being managed on a confidential basis bySRM Recruitment, specialist tax recruiters with 22 years of expertise placing tax professionals across financial services and investment banking.All enquiries are handled in the strictest confidence.
