We are seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead our specialist provision in Northampton, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEND. About the Role Provide strategic and operational leadership across the provision Champion inclusive, child-centred practice Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team Drive outstanding teaching, learning, and therapeutic support Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and achievement About You Has substantial senior leadership experience, ideally within specialist or alternative provision Demonstrates a deep understanding of SEND and inclusive practice Has a proven track record of school improvement and raising outcomes Is committed to trauma-informed and relational approaches Leads with integrity, resilience, and vision Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant leadership qualifications (NPQH or equivalent desirable) We Offer The opportunity to shape and develop a growing specialist provision A committed, skilled and passionate staff team Supportive governance and strong local partnerships A competitive leadership salary (L-scale, dependent on experience) This role offers the chance to create a culture where every child is understood, valued, and empowered to succeed.
