Finance Director

We deliver complex data centre and mission‑critical projects for global clients, and we’re looking for a commercially astute, hands‑on Finance Director to help lead our next chapter. This is an opportunity to shape a high‑growth business, influence strategic decisions, and build a finance function that supports our ambitions for the future. As Finance Director, you’ll provide strategic financial leadership across our UK and international operations, acting as a trusted advisor to the business owners and a key driver of performance. You need to be comfortable setting long‑term strategy and also roll up your sleeves to dive into project numbers, resolve complex accounting queries, and get close to the detail when needed. Responsibilities Financial strategy, governance, and long‑term planning Hands‑on budgeting, forecasting, modelling & performance analysis Consolidated reporting, board packs, and statutory accounts Cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and funding strategy Systems, processes, data integrity & continuous improvement Development and mentoring of a strong, capable finance team Qualifications Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Significant financial leadership experience within an SME or project‑based environment A commercial, action‑oriented mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence at Director level Strategic thinking paired with a willingness to get hands‑on with detail, processes, and controls A proactive, solutions‑focused approach If you are looking to shape a finance function, drive commercial performance in a business that values transparency, ambition, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you!
